Discontinued Celeste Power Amplifiers Updated: May 31, 2011

The W-4070se produced 85 watts per channel into 8Ω and 160 watts per channel into 4Ω, was bridgeable for mono operation, used a fully differential signal path with zero overall feedback and had both single ended (normal and phase inverted), as well as balanced inputs. The original W-4070 produced 70 watts per channel into 8Ω.

The W-4150se produced 150 watts per channel into 8Ω and 300 watts per channel into 4Ω, was bridgeable for mono operation, used a fully differential signal path with zero overall feedback and had both single ended (normal and phase inverted), as well as balanced inputs. The original W-4150 also produced 150 watts per channel into 8Ω.

The W-4250se represented the most powerful amplifier built by Simaudio, using a dual-mono circuit topology producing 250 watts per channel into 8Ω and 500 watts per channel into 4Ω. It was the only Celeste amplifier using Advanced Renaissance technology, later used in the MOON series, making it a true reference calibre product. The original W-4250 also produced 250 watts per channel into 8Ω.

Our modular HT-3 and HT-5 multi-channel home theater amplifiers are very flexible units that will give you the possibility to upgrade when necessary. This balanced amplifier can be purchased as a three channel HT-3 and can then customized by your dealer into a five channel HT-5. The common power supply section remains constant regardless of the number of channels. It features two huge proprietary toroidal transformers. The second part of the power supply is on each channel's modular PCB. It delivers up to 120 watts per channel into 8Ω and is stable for varying loads down to 2Ω. Channels are bridgeable externally by using a special cable supplied by Simaudio. The HT-2 (not shown) was a smaller two channel design also intended for use in Home-Theatre applications.
