Launched in 2002, Discontinued in 2004

Offering extreme flexibility, the MOON Orion could be purchased as either a DVD Transport or a DVD Player, the latter including optional high quality analog audio outputs. To further enhance this modular concept, an optional progressive scan line doubler circuit using Faroudja's DCDi™ (Diagonal Correlation Deinterlacing) technology, was also available. Either or both of these options could be purchased with the transport or as an upgrade. By applying the same non-compromising design approach found in the more expensive Stellar DVD Player, the MOON Orion represents true state-of-the-art video performance with many of the same user-friendly features and functions.
