The MOON CD5.3 Player is the perfect companion source component for either the i-5 Integrated Amplifier
or any MOON Classic series preamplifier/amplifier combination. Improving on technologies from the legendary MOON
Eclipse and borrowing from the Evolution series SuperNova, the CD5.3 incorporates highly advanced digital and
analog circuitry. Raising the bar on the CD Red Book digital standard and producing an astonishing level of sonic
performance with no equal in its price range, the CD5.3 will lead you to effortlessly rediscover your entire digital
musical collection.
With features such as a large and easy-to-read display, an IR input for external control, optional balanced analog
audio outputs, and a luxurious industrial build quality, the MOON CD5.3 will provide for many years of listening
pleasure and hassle-free use.

Overseas MOON CD5.3 RS
The RS series of MOON audio components benefit from an even higher standard of manufacturing process
than the regular MOON versions. All significant differences are contained within the circuitry and construction
of each model.
RS versions are built using different materials and parts in certain areas. For example, printed
circuit boards are of a higher temperature grade than that of the military specification FR-4 material
we normally use; Their traces are gold-plated instead of a tin/lead composite. As well, all capacitors
use improved dielectric materials.
MOON RS models meet and/or exceed stricter manufacturing processes as required to pass many
international safety standards such as those imposed by the E-U, Japan and South Korea. Cosmetically, the
ONLY difference is the RS logo on the front panel.
