Simaudio Ltd. brings you the MOON Limited Edition series, representing a genuine leap forward in both sonic excellence and physical appearance. The MOON Nova LE CD Player is heavily based on the Eclipse LE CD Player but in a single chassis with an on-board power supply, a front-loading transport mechanism and single-ended audio circuitry."It offers audiophile" performance in a more affordable package with an internal upsampling rate that features 24-bit/352.8kHz processing.

In 2002 we introduced the MOON Nova CD player as a companion source component for the MOON i-5 Integrated Amplifier. During its brief history, the Nova CD Player is has proven to be an exceptionally worthy "sidekick" to the i-5, based on both the press accolades it has received and the sheer success in terms of many satisfied owners. During this time, the Nova CD Player has undergone several minor changes, either as a result of the availability of new and improved parts and/or subtle design changes, culminating in the Limited Edition version.

Unique to the LE version of the MOON Nova is an enhanced analog section that utilizes exotic component parts matched to an unprecedented 0.02% tolerance. In addition to improved critical matching of components throughout the player, the noise floor is brought down even further, increasing the dynamic range. Overall, while preserving the sonic hallmarks that have earned the Nova worldwide aclaim, the LE takes it to an even greater level of musical resolution in terms of imaging, transparency, and sheer realism.

MOON Limited Edition series features include polished chrome accents, a ½" thick brushed & anodized silver faceplate, a custom 2 meter Cardas power cord and a MOON Limited Edition serial number plaque. Starting in January 2004, we will be producing 250 units of the MOON Nova LE.
