reviewed both the
LP3 Phono Preamplifier and
LP5.3 Phono Preamplifier.
Reviewer Wayne Garcia summed up his thoughts on the LP3 by saying "... I can't imagine any
music lover not being tickled with its sound." Regarding the LP5.3 he ended off by simply
stating "Simaudio's LP5.3 is a friggin' good phonostage". Enough said!

has as first-rate review of the
MOON i-7 Integrated Amplifier.
Editor Robert Harley concludes by saying "There are many good audio products that hit all the sonic
checkmarks, but very few that transcend the usual descriptors to deliver a feeling of being in the
presence of music-makers. The Simaudio Moon i-7 is one of those components. It does all the audiophile
things right, but also has a certain intangible quality that makes music listening even more joyful.

10/25/2006 - The MOON i-3 and MOON Equinox have been revamped into Special Edition (SE) versions. Both models benefit from electronic parts with higher tolerances in several key areas of the circuit, including an improved toroidal transformer in the power supply of the MOON i-3 SE Integrated. The result is improved sonic performance.

While on the subject of awards, Ultimateavmag.com has bestowed an Ultimate Choice Award on the MOON Orbiter Universal Digital Player Finally, UHF (Ultra High Fidelity) magazine issue no. 77 has an exemplary review of the MOON P-8. The reviewing team found this to be the finest preamplifier they've ever encountered, easily outperforming their in-house reference. 07/13/2006 - You can now read and/or print the latest MOON Product brochures from our Literature section. The March 2006 issue of British-based publication
What Hi*Fi? has a colossal review of the
MOON Andromeda CD Player.
Aside from the five-star rating, they exalted its "Exquisite build quality; awesome
sonic performance; explosive dynamics; unbelievably detailed sound." Furthermore,
they found nothing against this player, "not even the price because this is an
absolutely outstanding player." The MOON Andromeda easily outperformed their
similarly priced in-house reference.

We finally have high quality images off several
MOON Evolution series components sporting a black brushed/anodized faceplate with the

08/22/2005 - The September 2005 issue of Stereophile magazine, contains an exceptional review of the MOON ROCK 1000 watt mono power amplifier. In summing up, reviewer Brian Damkroger states "Simaudio set out to build an amplifier as good as any out there, and they've done it". Editor John Atkinson's measurements are concluded as follows: "Simaudio's MOON ROCK offers both superb measured performance and enormous capabilities of dynamic range". The bottom line is that when we set out to create a statement amplifier, we left nothing to chance; A world-class audio publication has unequivocally labelled the MOON ROCK a world-class product. 08/04/2005 - Simaudio MOON products are now designated into three separate product lines; The MOON Evolution Series for products introduced from 2005 onwards; The MOON Classic Series for current products available before 2005 and the MOON A/V series for current multi-channel products. Chris Lewis found it to be one of the finest sounding disc players he's ever listened to, with virtually
flawless audio performance, as well as excellent video performance that "only sweetens the deal".
02/28/2005 - The February 2005 issue of Haute Fidelite, from France, features the MOON Eclipse LE CD Player on their front cover. Inside, a full-blown review yields extraordinary results. Aside from being bestowed a highly coveted "Haute Fidelite Reference" designation, it was rated 5-stars (the highest rating) in all three evaluation categories; Build quality, Musical performance and Quality/price ratio. In the December 2004 issue of the same publication, the MOON i-5 LE Integrated Amplifier also received a glowing review.

As well, it is now listed in their recommended components "Class B" category along with the
i-3 Integrated Amplifier.
08/24/2004 - The September 2004 issue of Stereophile magazine has a rave review of the MOON Equinox CD Player. Editor John Atkinson concluded "Simaudio's rich-sounding MOON Equinox CD Player is a high-end contender ... to those who do care about sound quality and have large CD collections, I confidentally recommend the MOON Equinox." Our "Manufacturer's Comment" is scheduled to appear in the October 2004 issue. 08/11/2004 - Canadian magazine UHF (Ultra High Fidelity) has an excellent review of the MOON W-5 Limited Edition Dual-mono Power Amplifier in issue #70. The editorial staff loved it so much that they purchased one for their own reference system. Furthermore, Albert Simon, one of UHF's reviewers purchased one for his own personal system. 07/25/2004 - The rave reviews keep on coming; The July 2004 issue of British-based publication What Hi*Fi? has a great review of the MOON Equinox CD Player. Their verdict was "A class machine for those who plan long, indulgent listening sessions ..." and gave it the maximum 5 star rating. 07/22/2004 - Issue #149 (August/September 2004) of The Absolute Sound contains a spectacular review of the MOON Equinox CD Player written by Associate Editor Neil Gader who exclaimed "The reason it’s so easy to recommend the Simaudio Equinox is because it represents a truly musical upgrade that can be heard and enjoyed immediately ..." As well, the front cover of this issue includes a photograph of the Equinox.

12/13/2002 - Canadian magazine UHF (Ultra High Fidelity) celebrates its 20th anniversary with issue no. 65, which just hit the newstands this week. Inside is a comprehensive review of the MOON Stellar DVD Player (with DCDiä line-doubler). Also in this issue is an in-depth article describing the magazine's recently assembled home theater reference system that uses a MOON Attraction and two Simaudio power amplifiers. We plan to make this review available on-line in the coming months. 11/24/2002 - We've made numerous changes to this website, starting with new images on most of our product pages; Each page will now have a large frontal view of the product; The smaller inside and rear views will have a "click to enlarge" option. You'll also notice that some of our models are now being shown with a silver colored faceplate, as opposed to the usual black version; This is simply to help "show off" the available finishes - All Simaudio MOON components are available in either color. As well, each product page will have a new link, located at the bottom, that opens a "printer friendly" window. The purpose of all this is to provide you with better graphical details about our products and make our site more user-friendly. As always, we welcome your feedback. 11/01/2002 - The MOON i-3 Integrated Amplifier has received the Diapason D'Or (Gold) award from the magazine Diapason, based in France; A review and the award can be found in the November 2002 issue (No. 497). As well, an on-line review of the MOON Titan Multi-channel Amplifier premieres this month in onhometheater.com (part of the Soundstage! network). Authored by highly respected audio reviewer Wes Phillips, this review shows the MOON Titan's strengths for both soundtrack and music recordings. 10/23/2002 - The MOON Nova CD Player has received the Diapason D'Or (Gold) award from the classical music review magazine Diapason, based in France; A review and the award can be found in the October 2002 issue (No. 496). As well, the Sept/Oct issue (#19) of British magazine hi-fi+ has the first ever review of the MOON AIR Analog FM Tuner. 10/03/2002 - We've added the complete text from the following two reviews that were published earlier this year: The MOON Eclipse CD Player from the Audiophile Voice and the MOON i-5 Integrated Amplifier from Hi-Fi News. As well, the Spring 2002 issue of Canadian based Audio Ideas Guide has just reviewed the MOON Stellar DVD Player with the optional Faroudja DCDiä. Both reviews are very positive and we hope to have reprints available in our reviews section in the coming months. 05/11/2002 - We recently had three (3) reviews of MOON products published by the British press; The i-5 in both hi>>fi World and Hi-Fi News and the i-5080 in What Hi*Fi?. Each editorial was very positive and they all appear in the May 2002 issues of each of these magazines. 04/11/2002 - We've added numerous product reviews from magazines based in both Russia (Audio Music & Total DVD) and Hong Kong (Audiophile). As well we've added the text and graphics from several awards that Simaudio MOON products have received (Robb Report and Hi-Fi Review). They can all be found in the reviews section of this site. 03/25/2002 - At the recent annual Montreal Hi-Fi show (Festival Son & Image), internet publication SoundStage! awarded the Simaudio, Dynaudio, Harmonic Technology suite with the distinction of standout room. Please point-and-click your mouse here for details. 03/04/2002 - As the "digital format wars" and the presence of digital upsamplers continue to confuse people, we've decided to present a technical article entitled "Upsampling, Upconversion and Oversampling: A Marketing Synonym Game". The intention of this article is to "clear the air" by providing you with a better understanding of what's really going on with digital audio. The most significant change is the new navigation bars on the left side of every page on this site; You'll notice that the current page will always be displayed in green and all other page links are in silver text. The newer style MOON logo and text at the top of the navigation bar (and bottom of each page) better reflects the faceplate of all Simaudio MOON components. Sound and Vision and the Attraction 5.1 Surround Processor by Canadian magazine UHF (Ultra High Fidelity) are now on-line. 02/04/2002 - The final installment of the owner manual revision is complete: The MOON Air Analog FM Tuner owner's manual is now available in PDF format on the Air's product page. The Attraction 7.1 manual will not be made available on this website as a result of its very large size.
