Simaudio launches the MOON Air Analog FM Tuner

Since introducing the MOON series, it's been our goal to offer a complete line of components. Enter the new MOON Air Analog FM Tuner. We strongly believe that FM radio is still considered a significant source where both music fans and audiophiles go to search out and discover new recordings, as well as further expand their musical tastes. The MOON Air will better allow for such endevors by bringing the listener closer to the musical broadcast than they have been accustomed to in the past. We opted for an analog FM design (rather than a phase locked loop digital circuit) for various reasons, the three most significant being 1) a more precise adjustment to the center of a desired station frequency, which in turn maximizes stereo separation 2) the ability for minimizing on-frequency interference by tuning slightly off center in certain situations such as when operating in urban centers and 3) superior sonic performance by maintaining the audio signal in the analog domain throughout the entire circuit.
