Simaudio launches the MOON Aurora
Multi-Channel Amplifier

Simaudio Ltd. proudly announces the introduction of the new MOON Aurora Multi-Channel Amplifier, our newest addition to the MOON A/V series of Home Theater components. Rated at 200 watts RMS into 8 ohms, the MOON Aurora is available in 5 and 7 channel configurations. Over two decades of experience in the design and manufacturing of amplifiers has paved the way for the new MOON Aurora.

Significant Design Features:

• Extremely fast circuitry for real-time amplification.
• An oversized power supply using a custom proprietary toroidal transformer design with lower magnetic, electrical & thermal loss, yielding an improved power transfer and lower regulation factor, resulting in increased current speed and greater dynamics.
• Rated power output of 200 watts RMS into 8 ohms and 400 watts RMS into 4 ohms.
• "Rack mount ready" faceplate with removeable aluminum cheeks to cover the rack holes when not in use.
• Thermally interconnected chassis design which enhances sonic harmony by maintaining identical operating temperatures for all channels.
• 6 Precision-matched Bipolar output devices per channel.
• Class A output to 5 watts for greater efficiency.
• 12 Volt trigger input for remote operations.
• A very short capacitor-free signal path for a faster transient response.
• A high damping factor which generates superior musical dynamics, improved signal speed and refined timbre accuracy.
• Pure copper circuit board tracings with low impedance characteristics.
• Low operating temperature for a longer than normal life expectancy.
• Designed to be powered up at all times for optimal performance.
