Simaudio launches the MOON Equinox CD Player

Simaudio Ltd. proudly announces the introduction of the MOON Equinox CD Player, our newest addition to the MOON Audio Reference series of audio components. Based on the aesthetics of the well-established MOON Eclipse CD Player and the audio circuitry of both the MOON Nova CD Player and MOON Orion DVD Player, the MOON Equinox delivers "audiophile" performance in a very affordable package. Intended as a source companion to the MOON i-3 integrated amplifier, the MOON Equinox represents one of the very finest affordable digital components for the new millenium.

• Separate digital & analog power supplies with seven stages of voltage regulation.
• Philips-based transport mechanism with in-house developed software.
• BurrBrown BB1730E 24-bit/96-kHz DACs and 8X oversampling digital filter.
• Internal upsampling which achieves 24-bit/352.8kHz resolution.
• Capacitor-free signal path using a DC servo circuit.
• Proprietary 6dB/octave analog filter identical to the circuit found in the Eclipse.
• Accurate 25ppm digital clocking system for exceptionally low intrinsic jitter levels.
• Low impedance analog output for easy system component matching.
• Short signal paths to eliminate any potential for interference and sonic degradation.
