Simaudio Ltd. proudly introduces the MOON i 5.3 Integrated Amplifier, our newest addition to the
MOON Classic series of audio components. Today a legend is reborn … The MOON i 5.3 Integrated Amplifier
continues where the legendary MOON i-5 left off. More power and improved transparency are just the tip of the
iceberg; The i 5.3 delivers "audiophile" performance in an elegant package. Over twenty-five years of
experience in the design and manufacturing of amplifiers, preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers have paved
the way for the new MOON i 5.3.
“Over 25 Years of Excellence”
Significant Design Features:
- Simaudio's "Advanced Rennaisance" technology which eliminates feedback, resulting in real-time amplification,
more tonally accurate musical reproduction, virtually non-existent transient intermodulation distortion and
the elimination of phase errors.
- An oversized power supply using a custom proprietary toroidal transformer design.
- IR input for external control.
- Extremely short capacitor-free signal path measuring a total of 14 inches in length, from input to output,
yielding a faster transient response.
- A gain section that uses a Crystal microprocessor functioning as a "shunt-to-ground" that doesn't degrade sonic
performance regardless of the output level.
- Rated output of 85 watts/channel into 8 ohms and 130 watts/channel into 4 ohms.
- Five line-level inputs including one user-configurable “home-theater ready” input.
- Remote control operation.
- J-FET input devices in the preamplifier section.
- Precision-matched Bipolar output devices in the amplification section.
- Class A output to 5 watts for greater efficiency.
- Heavy-duty gold-plated output binding posts.
- Pure copper circuit board tracings with low impedance characteristics.
- Accurate matching of the finest high quality electronic components.
