Simaudio launches the
MOON Stellar
DVD Player
Simaudio Ltd. proudly announces the introduction of the MOON Stellar DVD Player,
our newest addition to the MOON A/V series of Home Theater components. Based on a complete in-house R&D effort, the
Stellar is the ultimate source component for the true "videophile". Using a
non-compromising design approach, we've left no stone unturned in offering a true state-of-the-art DVD Player. With the goal
of offering the very best possible video quality, an optional line doubler circuit using Faroudja's DCDiä
(Diagonal Correlation Deinterlacing) technology is being made available at both the time of purchase and as a factory upgrade.
Significant Design Features:
- Optional Videon 'Stingray' line doubler circuit using Faroudja DCDiä Technology including both an adjustable image enhancer and animation mode setting.
- 10-bit oversampled video circuitry with active current-to-voltage converter.
- SRS Labs TruSurroundä 3D surround for 2 channel audio output.
- Crystal CS43122 24-bit/192-kHz DAC for digital audio processing.
- Full array of connection formats including RCA, XLR, BNC & TosLink for audio and Composite RCA, S-Video, Component BNC, RGB (DB15) & SCART for video.
- Compatible with DVD, CD Audio, Video CD, CD-R and CD-RW media formats.
- Bi-directional RS-232 port control and status for custom integration or automation.
- Support of both NTSC and PAL video formats.
- Available audio formats include MPEG1 (VCD), MPEG2 (DVDS), Linear PCM Audio, Dolby Digitalâ 5.1 (AC-3) and DTS Digital Surround 5.1ä.
- Optional rack mounting available from 'Middle Atlantic Products'.
