Simaudio launches the
MOON Titan
Multi-Channel Amplifier
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we introduce the MOON Titan HT-200 multi-channel power amplifier. Available in configurations
ranging from 2 thru 7 channels, with the standard offering being the 5-channel format, this state-of-the-art power amplifier is the perfect mate for a high-performance multi-channel
processor such as our MOON Attraction. Based on technologies used in the acclaimed MOON W-3, W-5 and W-10 power amplifiers, the Titan
replaces our previous multi-channel amplifier, the HT-5, from the discontinued Celeste Reference Series.
Featuring a power supply that uses two proprietary 1.1KVa torodial transformers in conjunction with capacitance of 216,000 microfarads, and capable of producing a maximum output of
400 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the MOON Titan HT-200 will drive virtually any loudspeaker to its fullest potential. Mounted in a stunningly
futuristic chassis measuring 19" wide x 12" high x 19" deep with custom heatsinks, ventilation and cooling have been addressed to ensure long term reliability, further enhanced by a full
5 year transferable warranty.
Significant Design Features:
- Eight (8) matched BiPolar output devices per channel
- Balanced (XLR) and Single-ended (RCA) inputs
- Minimalist approach circuit topology employing very short signal paths
- 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms; 400 watts per channel into 4 ohms
- Thermally interconnected chassis to maintain identical operating temperatures for all channels.
- Gain factor of 33dB
- Signal noise ratio greater than 100dB
- THD < 0.02%
- Maximum peak current output of 30 amperes.
