The accurate reproduction of recorded music, along with capturing its emotional
impact, is one of Simaudio's ultimate goals. People often ask us what we listen
to when we're evaluating the sonic performance of our products under development.
As well, when we're doing demonstrations at audio shows, visitors regularly ask
us what they're listening to. Consequently, we're presenting this section of
recommended recordings. Virtually every title listed (CD format) is a
commercially available release. However, there's always the possibility that
some of these titles may become discontinued by the recording label.
In the event that you cannot find a recording at your local retailer, there's
a high probability you will find it through an internet retailer.
Simaudio's recommended recordings are broken down into six distinctive
categories:

Ambient
Each category has a link to its own respective page. Simply point-and-click your
mouse over the genre of music you wish to view. You may also use the navigation bar
on the left side of these pages.
For each recording listed, we've included the catalog number on our copy
as sometimes there's more than one pressing/version of a recording and
sonic quality can vary significantly.
This section will be a work-in-progress and continue to grow as we discover new
